Evan Miles is a jazz pianist, composer, and educator born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in jazz studies from the University of Manitoba in 2023 and has been based in Toronto since September, 2024, where he is pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Toronto. In Toronto, he performs regularly with his own groups at venues such as The Rex, the Jazz Bistro, Sellers and Newell, Hirut, and The Emmet Ray and has performed alongside musicians such as Dave Young, Ernesto Cervini, Ethan Ardelli, Mike Downes, Morgan Childs, Allison Au, and Neil Swainson.
